A Culture of Mutuality –
From Vision to Practice
Let’s come together to bring our vision to life: Strengthening our schools as places of connection and cooperation, where everyone is welcome as they are—and where we learn and grow together.
August 26 – 30, 2026
St. Johann im Pongau / Salzburg / Austria
The Mutual Education Lab is an international training and community event based on the ideas of mutual education, dialogue, and appreciation of diversity and different perspectives, all supported by the practices of Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
The Mutual Education Lab is uniquely structured to provide both a supportive and open learning environment. It is an opportunity to share, explore, and learn together so that over the course of these days, you will experience co-creating a life-enriching learning community and embodying the values of NVC in an educational setting.
Developed in cooperation with the Center for Nonviolent Communication, the Mutual Education Lab builds on the experiences of trainers from around the world working in education at all levels.
In this Lab, you will meet CNVC-certified trainers and local NVC-in-education actors, who are there to create the frame, hold space, and offer input and guidance.
The experience and knowledge of each participant are welcomed as an important part of the event, as everyone comes as an expert in their own learning.
